Summerlea's annual spring craft fair, a joint enterprise of the Lachine District Girl Guides and
the Summerlea Outreach Committe, was held at
Summerlea United Church Saturday, April 8, 2006, a fine but cool spring day. The proceeds from this event are shared
by the Guides, to support camping activities, and by the Outreach Committee, to support

Let's start with the food, for a change.
First some photos of the Guides and Pathfinders preparing food for the fair.

Hot dogs outside the 50th Avenue Entrance. She wished she had worn gloves.
Jeanne Moore and friends manned (womaned?) the Summerlea bake table.
In the kitchen we caught Linda Rodrigues-Rodd, Brian Maklan and Keith McKenzie.
Scraping dishes we found the Rodd twins and friend.
("Thousands of dishes", said one twin on Sunday morning).
Rev. Howard Clark clowned around and advertised the various attractions.

In the book room we found Michèle Bitauld, Nancy Mark,
Jeanine Morin and Anabel Mclaughlan.
Still in the book room we found Jack Hill, Olive Cartnell and Muriel Hill reminiscing.
At the back of the book room, guides handled the children's books.
And a couple of shots of the book worms.
