Scout-Guide & Pancake Sunday 25 Feb 2007

The 2007 Scout-Guide Sunday was held 25 February, and coincided with Pancake Sunday. The Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies, etc., marched in the colours and participated in some readings. Many of the visitors also participated in the pancake lunch, raising some concern for Rolf Smart as to whether there was sufficient quantity of food. However, there was lots for all despite an overflowing hall. Following are a few photos of the event. Then it was time for pancakes with maple syrup and ham, prepared by Rolf Smart and his team and served by the Summerlea Youth Group.

Our thanks to the Scouts and Guides and especially to all the leaders whose dedication to the movement is so crucial. And thanks to Rolf Smart and his team of cooks and to the Summerlea Youth Group, for preparing and serving the meal.
