Pancake Luncheon 3 Feb 2008

Summerlea's annual Congregational Pancake Luncheon took place after the service Sunday 3 February 2008, directed by Bryan Maklan with help from some male chefs and some youthful servers / cleaner-uppers. A Friday snow storm had not yet been cleaned up, so parking was at a premium, but a fairly good crowd turned out anyway to enjoy some great pancakes with maple syrup and ham, with juice, coffee and tea to quench the thirst. Our thanks to Bryan and all those who helped to set up, cook, serve, clean up and put away. Following are a few photos of the event. On stage, Kevin McKenzie made the happy faces enjoyed by daughter Cassandra and friends.

And the eaters enjoyed the fare served up by the youth group.
