Summerlea's annual Anniversary Dinner took place Saturday evening February 7, 2009
in Acadia Hall, followed by entertainment in the Sanctuary. The chicken pie dinner was prepared
by our intrepid Summerlea kitchen crew and served by the Youth Group, with help from their leaders.
The Youth Group also set up the tables Saturday morning, cleared the tables and put them away
after dinner, and washed the dishes. Thanks team. The attendance was not as large as usual, perhaps because of warnings of freezing rain (some did occur during the entertainment). Following dinner, the assemblage repaired to the sanctuary for a presentation of music and humorous anecdotes arranged by Summerlea's music director Connie Osborne and friends. Following are a few photos of the event. You can pick a small photo to see a larger version, then pick Back on your browser to return to this page. |
| Let's start with our thanks to those who made the dinner happen. |
| In the kitchen - Mary Guyan & Marion Golden, Roy Rodd & Kevin McKenzie, Undeg Edwards & Marion Golden. |

|
The servers lined up to get snapped in their Habs regalia (which did not seem to help the Habs as they lost to the Leafs). The McKenzie's, Rodd's, Alayna Roy & Jacob Osborne, & Elizabeth & Nathalie Wightman. |

Some shots of folks shooting the breeze after dinner, while waiting to head to the sanctuary for entertainment. |
