Saturday afternoon, 1 August 2009 at 3 PM in the Summerlea sanctuary,
Kimberley Davey and Michael Smith were married in the company of a large
number of family and friends. Kimberley's parents, Bryan and Barbara Davey,
were Summerlea members some years ago before they moved to Pointe-Claire. Rev. Jeff Barlow led the service, with readings by Jennifer Pugi, Brian Gourley and Fotini Kountourogiannis. Marinet & Louis Saint-Amand provided musical meditations on flute and guitar as the prelude to the service and during the signing of the register. Michael is stationed at Comox, BC, and Kimberley has a year to go for her Quebec permanent certificate, so some long distance commuting is in the cards for the first year of marriage. Our very best wishes for health and happiness in the coming years to Kimberley and Michael. |
