Picnic Worship 2010

Although the weather forecast sounded dubious a couple of days previous, picnic Sunday dawned sunny and warm as Summerlea folk gathered for the picnic at Dorval Island June 13, 2010. Special thanks to lots of people: - Sue McKenzie for organizing this day - Connie and John Osborne for their leadership in music, - Carolyn Osborne for the "use" of her freezer and island, - the youth group for their assistance with carrying our chairs and baskets! Following are a few shots of the event. Thanks to Michèle Bitauld who took the photos.

And so ends another enjoyable Summerlea picnic, the first and last for Heather MacDougall, who ends her temporary stay at Summerlea June 20. Our very best wishes to Heather and partner Pix in future endeavours.
