Baden Powell Sunday / Pancake Lunch 2010

Summerlea's annual Baden Powell Service took place 21 February 2010, followed by the annual Pancake Lunch. Our thanks to Bryan Maklan and all those who helped to set up, cook, serve, clean up and put away. Following are a few photos of the event. Guider Diane led the guides in the promise and gave a brief overview of 100 years of Guiding. Patrick & Peter read the lesson.

At setup on Saturday, about 40 tickets had been sold, so places were set for 80. On Sunday another 10 or so places had to be added.

Did Ethan over-indulge in pancakes? Grandpa Victor is not saying.

There is no snow on the Acadia roof, but some on the chapel. Maybe the added chapel insulation is helping to keep the heat in.
