Maundy Thursday Seder April 1, 2010

Summerlea's 2010 Maundy Thursday Seder took place 1 April, 2010. The ceremony is described in some detail in the 2009 page at 2009seder.htm, so on this page we'll just show some of the participants in this year's moving reminder of the ancient history from which Christianity was born.

Following the ritual of the meaning of the symbols, folks partook of the sumptuous pot luck supper.

The seder was led by the Maklin family and Rev. Heather MacDowell.

Dessert brought time to shoot folks in a convivial mood.

The young folks found the Afikoman and were duly rewarded by Brian.

And some shots of the assemblage as Heather said a few words before proceeding to the sanctuary to strip it of adornment.
