Annual General Meeting 2011

Summerlea's annual general meeting took place after the Sunday service 6 February 2011. Despite an overnight snowfall that clogged driveways, roadways and parking, there was a reasonble representation of the congregation. Folks first ate the lunch they had brought, with dessert and coffee provided by those mysterious Summerlea providers. The meeting was presided by Board Chairman Sheila Hébert, with Board Secretary Susan Hawke and Rev. Scott Patton. Rev. Patton opened the meeting with a prayer. Nominations were adjusted as those present accepted or declined, and the resulting nominations were approved by the meeting. All committee reports were accepted as printed in the published report. Several items of new business were raised, then Scott closed the meeting with a prayer.

First folks enjoyed the lunch that they had brought, followed by dessert and coffee furnished by Summerlea's food elves.

A brief delay while George set up the speaker system, then the meeting proceeded.

The meeting adjourned shortly after 1 PM - all replete and ready for another year of fun and frivolity in the Summerlea family.
