The annual Christmas Dessert Concert by the Lakeshore Concert
Band took place at Summerlea at 7:30 PM Sunday 11 December 2011. For this event the band members prepare home made desserts to be consumed by the concert audience while enjoying the Christmas music. The photos are pickable to see a larger version. |
| This being a dessert concert, it seems appropriate to show the desserts in St. Andrew's hall before they are attacked by the hungry hordes. |
| The awaiting crowd is invited to partake of dessert by the band announcer. |
| And partake they do! |

As folks filled their faces, the band played many familiar
Christmas tunes, some with "swinging" arrangements. The band was located on the stage, making it difficult to find a place from which to snap them. This one was taken from a somewhat precarious perch on the edge of the stage stairway. No others were attempted. |

Songbird Leslie Field (well known to Summerlea folk) sang Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, much to our delight. |
