At 3 PM Sunday, 4 December, the Summerlea sanctuary found
itself full of folks in the pews to hear the choir Octet Plus
sing a Christmas concert, under the direction of Alan Daye.
The concert was a benefit performance
for the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group of the Jewish
General Hospital. Summerlea's Ann Cockhill organized the concert, the ticket sales and the refreshments following the concert. The full turnout was undoubtedly rewarding for all her efforts, as expressed by Dr. Murray Baron, Director of the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group during the brief intermission. The photos are pickable to see a larger version. |
