Christmas Pageant 2011

Summerlea's 2011 Christmas Pageant took place at the 10:30 A.M. Sunday
service December 10, and featured the youth and
young folk of Summerlea in a production of "The Night of the
Stars", by Christina Berry. The photos are pickable to see a larger version. |

The narrator, Peter, awaited the stars of the show, first the angel of hope, Michelle, who arrived early. After waiting a while Alayna, the angel of peace arrived. |
|
Then along came Cassandra, the angel of joy, with an
entourage, Inga and Raphael. Raphael joined her brother Philip and Susan behind the crêche scene. |
| The angels disappear, leaving Jacob and Kevin (young at heart) to read the Christmas story. |
| As the story was read, Philip and Raphael manipulated the puppets, with some help from Susan. |
| The stars became one as the story ended. |
the Christmas season for us with the age old story. |
