As in past years, one of Summerlea's major fund-raising
activities in 2011 is in making meat and apple pies for sale.
The photos below show only a couple of the activities in 2011,

Meat cooking got underway one day while Meals on Wheels were
still washing up as deliverers returned containers. Made for a busy kitchen. |
| Rolling pastry seems like a never-ending job, even with office administrator Susan lending a hand to Mary, Janet and Barbara. |
| And on it goes another day, with Isabelle, Michèle, Helen and Janet on duty. |
