Palm Sunday, 1 April 2012, featured the Union United Church
Gospel Choir, in celebration of their member, Rolanda Taylor,
who has been interning at Summerlea since September and will
finish her internship April 15, to become a United Church minister. The Gospel choir sang several hymns during the service and ended with a postlude that brought the congregation to its feet in a clapping, rocking celebration. The service also featured a skit re-enacting the palm sunday theme, featuring:
