Last week Mary Guynan, John Osborne and the Reverend Scott Patton visited Nancy (one of Summerlea United founding members) at the Camille Lefebvre long term facility in Lachine to mark her one hundred and first birthday!

A much bigger celebration had been planned by her daughters for the week before on her actual birthday but, wouldn't you know, one of our famous Montreal Winter Storms made it impossible!

Here the three of us are as we joined Nancy for her lunch and spent a lively hour with lots of laughs and joy. On the table you can see the Dozen Red Roses Scott presented Nancy on behalf of the Summerlea family.

Nancy retains all her customary wit and is still wonderfully able to launch one her pointed verbal barbs when called for!

For those of you who couldn't make it, perhaps you can join us all next year for Nancy's one-hundred-second birthday?
