Connie's Retirement Reception


A Banner Day!

With only two services left before the Summer Hiatus, a truly bang-up reception was organized in Connie's honour.
Just below you see last minute adjustments performed.



After the worship service all and sundry made their way to Acadia Hall where the preparations were proceeding for Connie's reception.
A pleasant surprise was to see the
Worsnips there for the festivities. Just below you see Jennifer W. helping Sinclair with some last minute preps.
Jennifer was an original in Connie's Junior Choir way back. Great to see her there with her folks!



Oh my!! The veritable cornucopia of wonderful comestibles!!

In the excitement of it all I left the recorder in the sanctuary so unfortunately the various speeches and tributes are left to your imaginations!
But I still had my camera so picures only it is!


Mel Cockhill opens the festivities
with welcoming words & anecdotes.

Connie has known Mel
since her high school days
at Lachine High where Mel taught her in Biology!
Not to mention, Connie & her parents
& Mel all sang together in the
St. Lawrence Choir!

Lots of years.


Lots of Music.


Lots of Memories.


Twenty-three years worth!!



Connie was presented a wonderful scrapbook
put together by Colleen and Susan Hawke
simply chockful of pictures and messages from congrgants and friends.
