Call to Worship

Eternal God, you reign over all the universe.
Praise to you for your wondrous love!

Prayer of Confession

God of mercy and forgiveness,
You have created human beings for your glory and pleasure.
We confess the times when we forget you and instead choose to live selfish lives. We confess that too often our thoughts, words and actions betray your goodness and our calling. Forgive us when we prefer to foster division rather than unity. Forgive us for ignoring your purpose for our lives, and for placing our will above yours. Forgive us, merciful God. Mend what is broken, heal our wounded relationships and convert our hearts and minds, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
