Spring Bridge 2004

Summerlea's annual spring bridge was held Monday afternoon, May 3 in Acadia Hall. About twenty tables of dessert eating bridge players participated and a good time was had by all. Bev Gill organized the event and poured coffee, while back in the kitchen were Ann Cockhill and Shirley Ellison and Ruth Heim and Mary Guynan.

A table of prizes awaited the winning players.

The afternoon started with dessert and tea or coffee, which the folks selected from a table of goodies provided by the congregation.

Fran Crawford was celebrating her 90th birthday.

Here we have some of the players stoking up for a hard afternoon of bridge.

At some point they actually got to play some bridge.

Hearty thanks to Bev and all the folks who gave of their time, talent and energy to produce yet another highly enjoyable afternoon of dessert and bridge.
