Alan Turner / Irene Critchlow Wedding 13 May 2006

Alan Turner and Irene Critchlow were married at Summerlea Saturday 13 May, 2006. The
service was led by Rev Darryl Macdonald and Rev. Howard Clark, and included a blessing of the rings by the
entire assembly. A number of Summerlea members joined the invited guests to wish Alan and Irene well as they embark on their life together. Following are a few snapshots taken before and after the ceremony. (The photos are pickable to see a larger version.) |
A piper (protected from the rain under the doorway) greeted the arriving guests.
In came the attendants.
And then Irene, on the arm of her son Peter.
No photos during the ceremony - the deed is done.
Alan and Irene - husband and wife.
Now the attendants follow them down the aisle.
The rainy weather precluded group photos outside the church,
but the piper was on hand again to pipe everyone out to the reception.
