Meadowbrook & Bishop Whelan Graduations 2007

Wednesday evening, June 20, Summerlea United representatives presented book prizes to students at local
elementary schools Meadowbrook and Bishop Whelan, as they celebrated their graduations on the same
evening. The Bishop Whelan prize was presented by Rev. Howard Clark to Nazek Quteishat. The Meadowbrook prize was presented by Summerlea member Peter Maklan, who graduated from Meadowbrook last year. Summerlea members Cassandra McKenzie and Erin Overbury were among the Meadowbrook graduates. Perhaps an historic occasion, in that there are no Summerlea members to follow in their footsteps at Meadowbrook in the near future. Rev. Howard Clark was kept busy representing Summerlea at both events, and he provided the photos shown below. |
