The "sermon" for the Sunday morning service 1 May 2011 was
the musical "Hurry On Down", words and music by Donald F. Marsh.
The musical was repeated Wednesday evening, May 4. Featuring a cast of Summerlea folks and friends, the musical is a rollicking, toe-tapping, highly enjoyable way to hear the Christian message.

Kate Miller (Irish accordion) and Lee Hepner (guitar) opened with Sweet Jenny Jones and The Little Beggarman. John Osborne (flute) and Connie Osborne (piano) offered Meditation from Thaοs by Massenet. Elin Thordardottir sang Rosa (R.E. Pagliara) Kate and Lee ended these presentations with Tell Me Now and Swallowtail. |
