Baden Powell Sunday / Pancake Lunch 2011

Summerlea's annual Baden Powell Service took place 13 March 2011, followed by the annual Pancake Lunch. Our thanks to Bryan Maklan and all those who helped to set up, cook, serve, clean up and put away. Following are a few photos of the event. The snap shooter caught a couple of blurry photos of the Scout / Guide procession, but that's all.

In the kitchen after the service we caught pancake chefs John Osborne, Brian Maklan, Peter Maklan, Greg Legault, Zig Krujelskis and Richard Legault hard at work.

Kevin McKenzie on stage to make his famous Mickey Mouse pancakes, with Tom Pavlasek and Rev. Scott Patton. Tom announced that this was the 35th annual pancake lunch, started by Rev. Tom Miles, and a card was available for all to sign to be sent to Tom in tribute to his foresite. Scott asked the blessing.
