The tradition continues as about twenty or so of the congregation gathered on Saturday December 15 to bring the Christmas spirit to the community beyond the walls. The event was generously organized by Roy and Linda Rodd. If a Really Good Choir is defined by the level of enthusiasm and committment then the Summerlea Carollers are surely in contention. |
The Bayview Center in Pointe-Claire is a residence whose clientele (from young to old) require anywhere from three hours to complete nursing support. Above we see our fearless music woman Connie leading us on and some of us prparing to raise the roof. |
After the Bayview it was back to Lachine for Supper Hour concert in the dining room of the Les Floralies residence in Lachine. After Les Floralies it was off to Les Belvédères de Lachine seniors residence where so many of our own congragation are living. The pictures below are from the common area in Les Belvédères. |
And then it was back to the Rodd household where Roy and Linda had made ready a very warm and hearty welcome. There was pot-luck and good cheer in abundance. Thank you Linda and Roy!
