Soup Lunch 22 January 2012

Summerlea's first congregational event of 2012 was a soup
lunch put on by the Worship and Membership Committee after
the Sunday service January 22, 2012. Perhaps the coldish
weather had an influence, but all tables were filled and
extra tables had to be set up to accommodate the hungry
horde. Rev. Scott asked the blessing at the end of the
church service, so everyone was able to dig into the soup
on arrival in St. Andrew's Hall. The soup was accompanied
by rolls and followed by dessert cake with tea or coffee. Many thanks to the Worship and Membership committee for providing the opportunity to fill our faces and enjoy each other's company. The photos are pickable to see a larger version. |
