There are two sacraments recognized in the Unite Church of Canada: the two that Jesus himself participated in.
Namely, Baptism and the Sharing of Bread and Wine that we use to commemorate Jesus' Last Supper.

Toay we were delighted to be party to the baptism of Kalia Bianca Jocelyne, daughter of Isabelle Quevillon and Joey Madden.
Many of you will remember the baptism of Isabelle and Joey's first child Dreyken.

It was most likely the ceiling fan that caught Kalia's eye; or perhaps something that we cannot see?
At any rate, here areIsabelle & Kalia as they find their way to the front.

Baptism accomplished, Scott walks Kalia in welcome as the congregation sings
the blessing from the Hebrew Scriptures:

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Following the sermon, the Choral Anthem (by Ely & Steve Kupferschmid) seemed particularly fitting:

"Come, follow me," said the Lord.
"Be at peace within my care.
Be as a child. Show me your need.
Take my hand, and I will lead..."
...Leave all your cares behind,
Free as a bird, soaring above,
Filled with my forgiving love..."
